Emidio Antoci

http://xxroma20.blogspot.it/2012/07/salvatore-dangelo.html

Linea B

Imos e Tron OK, Linea A.

Imos N° e Beat SNK QRP, linea A.

English:

I've always had a special passion for subway insides. At first it was my safety valve to let out my early morning frustration when going to school... Furthermore, I loved seeing how a bit at a time, journey after journey, sometimes even within the same day, other tags appeared next to mine. It was a sort of internal communication between vandals.

Sometimes I'd take a train for one station, tag the inside, get on the next car, then change trains on and on, and went on like this for hours. I liked writing my name even when the train was full of people, I'd turn around discreetly, cover myself a bit, and write my name at the end of the car, or on the doors. At times someone would see me and give me bad looks, other times they would just mumble something, or even smile at me complacently...

Of course, finding an empty car was the best, that's when I would let loose all my anger and destroy every inch of the subway car's inside. Then finally satisfied, I would wait for someone else to share the beautiful view with.

I remember one episode in particular, when I had completely bombed a car with a shoe-shine filled with purple ink. It was one of those old A-line trains that had those four seats facing each other at the far end of the car. I had just finished writing when the doors opened at a station, and people rushed in. This lady with the usual snobby face wearing a fur coat sat down in one of those four seats, leaned against the wall, and got rewarded with an abstract purple blotch... I could barely keep from laughing my ass off, so I just waited for her to get up and enjoyed the scene. I would've liked to follow her home to see her face when finally noticing the surprise...
Now I've gone back to riding public transport, so naturally I've begun doing insides again. A few years have gone by since the school days, but the rush is the same, so I advise all travelers to be very careful where they lean against.
