Roma City Bombing

Durante l'estate del '96 la metro di Roma era in fiamme non solo per l'estremo caldo ma sopratutto per il massiccio numero di pezzi nuovi che apparivano giornalmente sui treni. Praticamente da un giorno all'altro, sono apparsi dei nomi stranieri sulle fiancate dei vagoni: numerosi nuovi pannelli, top to bottom, ma sopratutto wholecar che furono uno shock per molti. 

Erano gli RCB da Berlino. Roma City Bombin', RCBoom, RCBullets, RCB-line vandals; questi e altri pseudonimi diedero il benvenuto ai nostri occhi. Essi s' impossessarono rapidamente di un posto sulle linee Romane. Linea A, Linea B, Lido, Roma Nord, regionali, stazioni, e lungolinea. Fecero tutto nel giro di poche settimane!

Roma City Bombing

During the summer of '96 the Rome subway was on fire both due to the extreme heat but especially for the massive quantity of new pieces running on the trains. Literally overnight, numerous trains appeared with what seemed to be foreign names: the sheer number of new panels, top to bottoms and especially wholecars were a shock to many. It was the RCB crew from Berlin. Roma City Bombin', RCBoom, RCBullets, RCB-line vandals, these as well as other pseudonyms all greeted our eyes. They quickly seized a spot on the Roman trains, be it A-line, B-line, Lido, North line, regional trains, stations, tracksides, they did it all in a matter of a few weeks!
